Just take a moment to absorb all of this.
The huge energy bounty we get from oil gives us super-human powers. We use huge oil powered diggers to get the minerals we need for manufacturing. It powers our factories. It fuels the ships and planes that transport goods around the world. It powers our water delivery and sanitation, and gives us fertilisers to increase crop yields.
Indeed everything we buy has needed energy to produce it and bring it to us. And yet economists don't even consider it!
So energy isn't necessary!
